GuruLab Security is an independent cybersecurity consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. This page explains how information is handled when you use gurulab.net or contact us.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, work email, phone number, organisation and enquiry. We use it only to understand and respond to your request, arrange a conversation, and provide requested services.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand general website use, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referral source, clicks and scrolling. This helps us improve the website and evaluate marketing activity.
Contact form fields are explicitly masked from Microsoft Clarity. GuruLab Security does not intentionally send form content, names, email addresses or message text to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity.
How information is shared
Website analytics are processed by Google and Microsoft. Enquiry notifications are delivered through our email service provider. These providers may process information outside Australia. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary for follow-up, client administration, legal obligations or legitimate business records. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may block or delete analytics cookies through your browser settings. You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and record-keeping obligations.
